ithinkyoushould. Reconnect. Last night I saw a friend I hadn’t seen or heard from in more than 5 years! Amazing. She found me on Facebook to say Hi, I’m coming to Toronto, let’s see one another. Of course I was in. Husband to please mind the girlies, and Wifey off for the evening. We had dinner, we chatted, we laughed, we cried, we drank, we reminisced, we hugged, we shared, we re/connected. ithinkyoushould. See Old Friends. There’s nothing like seeing old friends and acquaintances for a celebratory occasion. The memories are fonder, the encounters are sweeter, and the energy is fresher. Yesterday we went downtown to celebrate the first birthday occasion of a friend’s son. We rarely see this young family because we both live at opposite ends of the city. We often make well-intentioned promises to visit one another, but time, and other pressing life commitments prevent us from doing so.
